What TrusteeClear is

TrusteeClear is software for the Florida successor trustee — the person a trust names to take over when the settlor dies or can no longer act. The product organizes that person's role: the statutory duties and the clocks that come with them, the documents to gather, the assets and how each is titled, the notices to send and the accounting to keep, and the record that shows all of it was done. The same platform is licensed to Florida estate-planning firms as a branded client portal, so a firm's clients arrive at their attorney's own door with the work already organized.

Everything on the public site is built on the same subject. The guides explain the Florida Trust Code and the Probate Code section by section; the deadline table collects the clocks; the glossary defines the words in the statutes' sense; the Learning Center answers the questions people ask after a death. All of it is free, indexable, and written to be read by a person under stress on a phone.

What TrusteeClear is not

TrusteeClear is not a law firm and does not practice law. It does not give legal advice, does not review a trust for what is missing, does not tell a trustee what to decide, and does not arrange review by an attorney for the people who use it directly. The public guides are education: what the statute provides, cited to the statute, with the decisions left to the trustee and, where a question stops being general, to a licensed Florida attorney of the trustee's own choosing. Where a law firm provides TrusteeClear to its own clients, that firm's attorneys work under their own engagement.

TrusteeClear also drafts nothing. Wills, trusts, powers of attorney and health care directives are prepared at EstateDraftFL, a sister platform; other attorney drafting lives at DraftCounsel. TrusteeClear picks up where signing ends.

Florida only, on purpose

Trust and probate law is state law, and the Florida Trust Code, chapter 736, is the only code TrusteeClear implements. Every duty, clock and definition on the site cites a Florida section, and the statute text is linked from the official Florida Legislature site so a reader can check the words. Guides are reviewed against the current Florida Statutes and carry the date of that review; when a session of the Legislature changes a section, the guide that explains it is updated and re-dated.

Seven languages, and a product that works for the people it was built for

Trustees in Florida read English, Spanish, French, Haitian Creole, Russian, Hebrew and Ukrainian, and the site serves each language at its own address with the chrome, titles and summaries translated. The long-form guides are English, and say so on every translated page; the statute summaries and the English remain the source of record. The product is built to WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a program, with an accessibility statement that says only what the evidence shows and a published conformance report, because trustees are often older, on phones and under stress, and a page that does not work for them is not a page.

How the product is held to its word

TrusteeClear publishes FiduciaryBench, a reproducible benchmark that every build must pass: a fabricated citation must be flagged, a request to take an operative legal step must be handed off, and an injected instruction must fail. The consumer-facing product reaches no generative model at all; the organization it does — extracting what a signed trust says into a record the trustee confirms — is structured, and the trustee decides what to do with it. The claims the site makes are checked by the same pipeline that builds it, so a sentence that promises more than the product does cannot ship.

Who builds it, and how to reach them

TrusteeClear is built in Florida by a small team that also builds EstateDraftFL and DraftCounsel. The editorial method behind the guides — how a section is read, how a plain-language sentence is written, how a review date is set and a correction is made — is published on the editorial policy page. Corrections, questions about a guide, and reports of anything on the site that is hard to use are welcome through the site's contact and accessibility pages; a reported error in a statute summary is compared with the official text and fixed, with the guide's review date reset.
